Takuya Enoki is a 11 years old elementary school boy . two months ago , he lost his mother by a traffic accident . Now he is living with a two years old baby Minoru and his father Harumi . Harumi is working very hard every day to bring up his children , so Takuya has to take care of Minoru . But recently , he gets to fly into a rage because Minoru becomes selfish and crybaby . He also feels that his room which must be comfortable for him seems to be one of others . That is why Takuya sleeps with his brother and his father in his room , study in the living room in order to take care of Minoru, take Minoru to the nursery school every day although he wants to play with his friends , and so on……

One day , when Takuya takes Minoru to the nursery school , Takuya notices that Minoru seems to miss his mother seeing other children coming together with their mothers .
So, Minoru throws the toy block to a friend who has been making up to mother . Haruo learnt about it from the principal of the nursery school, he decides to go on a picnic with Takuya and Minoru on Sunday to get Minoru`s mind off, together with a woman working in his company …………
